Scott has had the pleasure of chairing Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council’s Audit and Risk Committee. Below is an excerpt from the Council’s newsletter further detailing the community’s process and success in safeguarding and building a promising future. You can view the full newsletter here.
At the end of October, Scott travelled to Cherbourg for another committee meeting. The trip coincided with the two-week project to rejuvenate the Bert Button Lookout, Ration Shed Museum and the Cherbourg rugby league club. It was great to see work the community and volunteers have been doing and their dedication to the preservation of these sites.
